Rules are not bad by default. Some rules should not be broken unless we wish to face some dire consequences. But Pablo Picasso was right, some rules are OK to break! And some rules should probably be broken. You may be able to think of a few right now...
Not all rules are just rules. Not all rules are the same. And that is why we need to learn them, to understand them fully before we can make a choice of how to deal with them. We have so many rules in our world that make no sense. Some were put in place for unworthy reasons. Some were instituted by tyrants and fools. Rule-breaking should not define us or be our life mission but sometimes when we break them something good may come out. For Picasso, that was his unique art.
