Psalm 112 describes a person who has an amazing relationship with God and one of the key facets of this relationship is trust. "He is not afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firm, he trusts in the LORD. His heart is resolute, he is unafraid; in the end, he will see the fall of his foes." (Ps. 112:7-8 JPS) The secret to being steadfast is that one’s trust in the LORD is an intentional attitude, a purposeful behavior of confidence, and an unshaken sense of security. Such trust can only come from knowing God and what He is like intimately.
