Though I am interested in other religions beyond Judaism and Christianity, I rarely talk about them because they are outside of my area of expertise. I came across a video that explains how Muslims view the Quran in a very succinct and genius way. I was impressed with how Matt Maker compared and contrasted the conceptualizations of the Torah, the Christian Bible, and the Quran. It helps one to understand why these religions overlap so much yet are so different. So, even though the video is a bit outside of my area, I decided to share it.
Matt Baker (this video's creator) has a PhD in Religious Studies. As far as I remember, he is a theist and a convert to Judaism (a progressive and not very traditional group). So, as a Jew by choice, he has an interesting religious bias, but his personal views most often line up with secular scholars of religion. In some ways that makes him more objective in discussing differences between multiple religions.
